This place got everything right. It's a mixture of classy and cool inside. Old and new barber shop feel mixed together. The decor, space, music, furniture and lighting is so pleasant and fun to be in. Illini themed, obviously. They have plenty of seating on two extended long elegant couch-like benches that have outlet and USB ports for customers to use. They have an easy online appointment system (be careful not to book at the wrong location bc there is one in Mahomet and Champaign). The staff is so friendly, they take their time and perfect their cuts . Their conversation makes the customers feel welcome. For some reason when I made an appointment by phone I was booked at the wrong location but one barber was so friendly and said to come back in 20 minutes to squeeze in my son. He listened to our requests carefully and showed pics to my son to make sure he got what he wanted. Prices are reasonable but not the lowest in the area. So glad a good business like this is around here!

I walked in and quickly got a haircut and a beard cut. Justin is a friendly and professional barber. The shop is clean with nice decor. I will be back and highly recommend.

Comfortable seating in the waiting area. We had an appointment and I think they are recommended. I'm not sure they take walk-ins. I had a lot of hair cut off going from long hair to a shorter style. I basically just said make it look good and I have had lots of compliments on the new style so I think it worked. No complaints. Staff was friendly and personable. I'll probably be back.

I have been a loyal customer since Zach opened. He and the rest of the crew, have always taken care of my 'DO. I have to say, they have squeezed me in, in emergencies, if at all possible. But, I have been in the chair and heard them do the same for anyone that calls in, so it isn't because I'm special. It is because they're good people.. Great place to sit, watch some ESPN and shoot the sh!t, while getting faded in. Never know where the conversation will go. Great joint. I highly recommend.

I love everything about this barber shop! The price is honestly about what you'd pay at Sport Clips or a place like that but with significantly better service and skill! I can't believe I hadn't been going to a barber before. They are busy and you definitely need to schedule ahead of time!

Betsy & Zach along with their artillery of barbers are all very talented and personable! Grooming/styling products they use are top notch! Highly recommend! They tend to book up fast so don’t wait to schedule your appointment.

Amazing place with superb vibes and a perfect price. You can get a exactly thecut you want for about 35. In addtion to that, they make you comfortable and usually engage in nice conversations - which is something that I appreciate. A simple haircut can be around 20 to 35 minutes. But do keep in mind, in order do enjoy a smooth experience, you HAVE TO go online and book an appointment. I suggest you not leave this for the last minute as sometimes they can be booked for a couple of days.

In town for a basketball championship, was able to get into Leland’s and they did an awesome job with my cut! I can be specific about my hair but the staff was able to work with me and I left with exactly what I wanted!
